Custom Templates

The templates featured in the custom section are only sold once. The small fee covers the cost of the unique background image, custom XHTML and CSS for multiple browsers, and some simple javascript.

Pricing

Custom template prices start at $60. The starting price is for a custom template with a master css file and includes a unique (basic) background image. Prices scale up according to the complexity of the design and amount of time involved. Some features of a more complex custom template would be: some javascript or php scripts, a unique (more complex) background, a completely new XHTML file and new CSS files especially made for your site. Prices are subject to change in the future, depending on demand.

Order Information

To design a site with minimal problem, add as much information to the order form as possible. If you have a current site, the web address would be helpful. Point out things you like and dislike about it. The most helpful thing is a sketch of your idea. MS Paint is free on Windows (check the Start menu >> Programs >> Paint). Sketch your idea, it doesn't have to be perfect or to scale. Save as .jpg or .png. If you include images in the email make sure to add "Custom Site Design # images attached" to the subject line.

I'll look over the order information, and send an estimate for the cost of the order. When we agree, I will send an invoice for 50% of the total cost. Once the deposit is received, work will begin on your custom template. I'll send frequent updates on the progress. When the design is complete and we are both satisfied the second invoice will be sent out. When the final payment is received, you will get your special delivery. And a link to your site will be added to this site, unless you request otherwise.

If at anytime you need help with your custom site, just send an email, and I'll see what I can do to help. Slight updates or modifications are usually free within the first 10 days of email delivery for custom site orders.
