All offered templates are logical, efficient, very easy to maintain, and follow the current web standards (XHTML 1.0 and up, CSS 2). Stylesheets are included as separate files, so the style of a whole site can be changed by modifying the code in just one place. Some older methods required you to modify each and every page on your site for a simple change of background color or font size. The templates provided will correctly display in all standards compliant browsers (FireFox, Opera, Safari etc.) and even in Internet Explorer 6 and up.
Don't worry if you aren't computer literate or are completely new to creating your own site; if you have original ideas to share, and can type and follow a short page of instructions: you can start on your webpages right away. To use the templates, all you need is a basic text editor: such as Notepad which is free with any version Windows, but HtmlToGo recommends using a specialized editor. This will color all the special code so you can tell the difference between your original content and the html formatting tags.
